Holly (Olson) Orr's performance journey began at the age of 2. She started with baton, then quickly enrolled in gymnastics and soon fell in love with dance and cheer. She developed her skills in Pom, Kick, Jazz, Acro, and Stunts while competing with New Traditions Dance Company in Mansfield, Ohio. She also managed to balance both cheerleading and dance throughout her high school years, then continued her dance journey in college on the University of Akron Dance Team, and thereafter fulfilled a variety of roles.

Her dedication and talent led to numerous victories for both her dance and cheer teams at competitions across the state. Remarkably, her dance team clinched 11 out of 12 State & National Championship Titles during her tenure. In her senior year, as captain of both the cheer and dance teams, she led her teams to many awards. This included the All-Around Nationals Grand Championship Medal winners with a routine she led in choreography. Holly also trained at Universal Dance Association (UDA) and Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) camps throughout high school and college, and even helped organize and lead local cheerleading camps.

While earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Akron, Holly was a dedicated member of the University of Akron Dance Team for four years, serving as Captain for three of those years. She also took on the role of a Resident Assistant in the dorms and earned the Akron All-Campus Outstanding Junior Award, along with the Akron Dance Team Captain Award.

Holly's passion for coaching is rooted in her love for inspiring students to have fun while striving to meet their goals. A firm believer in the power of a positive mindset, Holly brings three decades of experience in nurturing children's growth in various environments. Her roles have ranged from assisting in a pre-school and serving as a safety town instructor to coaching at a local cheer facility, always with a focus on making the process fun.

Holly resides in Westerville, Ohio with her husband and their two beautiful children. She feels excited, honored, and blessed to be the founder of New Energy Dance & Cheer.
