GUEST COACH

Emily Shuter is an accomplished cheerleader and coach with decades of experience and deep roots in Ohio. Originally from Chillicothe, she is a proud graduate of Unioto High School, where she cheered throughout her high school years. Emily went on to cheer at The Ohio State University from 2002–2006, competing on the National Competition Team and serving as a team captain.

Following her collegiate career, Emily returned to Ohio State as an Assistant Cheer Coach from 2007–2009, helping develop athletes at the highest level. In 2008, she launched the cheerleading program at Olentangy Orange High School, where she also established the mascot program and competition cheer team, building a foundation that continues to thrive today.

Outside of cheer, Emily is happily married and the proud mom of two daughters and one son, balancing family life with a lifelong passion for mentoring young athletes.
