Teresa Fontana began her cheer profession at a very young age. Raised in a family where cheerleading is a cherished tradition, her involvement in this vibrant cheer world has been a constant throughout her life.
As a cheerleader for 9 years, Teresa earned numerous titles while participating in a multitude of regional and national competitions. Her unwavering dedication and exceptional skill led to her earning a prestigious position on the first-ever Worlds Champion Cheer team.
Teresa’s passion for cheer extends beyond performing. She also served on the staff of the United States Cheerleading Association (USCA) for several years, later leveraging her expertise as a judge for school and competitive teams.
For a decade now, Teresa has been nurturing young talent as the head coach of a middle school cheer team. Alongside her coaching role, Teresa has also dedicated over 30 years to fitness instruction. Her personal fitness journey is truly inspiring, marked by her achievements as a triathlete and her role as an ambassador for a Triathlon racing company. Currently, she is in the midst of training for a full 140.6-mile Ironman Triathlon.
Teresa resides in Dublin, Ohio. She and her husband have been happily married for 32 years and are the proud parents of four grown children in their 20s. Raised on Catawba Island, Lake Erie, she still cherishes her roots, returning most weekends to indulge in her love for boating.
